Shinn Asano with background in graphic design releases 6 piece collection of steel furniture called Sen, which turns 2D lines into 3D forms. The Sen has been created with lines that minimize excess to express both form and functionality in a range of applications, inspired by the unique aspects of traditional Japanese craft, patterns, and others. Nobolu hanger stand is inspired by the shapes of Japanese hieroglyphs. The bottom is grass, the middle is the sun, and the top is a tree, meaning that the sun is rising.
