Helter Skelter Shelter
In the event of a disaster, it usually isn’t the wisest idea to lose your cool and run for your life. The advice is to stick together and find shelter. Designer Hakan Gursu takes the ‘finding’ out of the equation with the Tentative Post Disaster Shelter, a conveyable shelter for disaster struck areas. Comprised of mainly pipes, fabric, and sheet metal, the entire unit folds into the size of a large mattress, and can be transported in bulk by vehicle. When opened out, it can comfortably house two people, or even a tiny family, which is a great thing because being together in a time of need is vastly important, right?
