LINNÉ LENS - Scannable AI encyclopedia
LINNÉ LENS is the world's first scannable AI encyclopedia. The app has entries for 5,500 species, covering more than 90 percent of the animals and aquatic life in Japanese aquariums and zoos. LINNÉ LENS lets users instantaneously identify an animal or underwater organism's name and gives them interesting information about the creature they are seeing live. The app can even be used without an internet connection underwater or on mountain tops, thanks to the company's proprietary AI technology running on the device. The app's name is inspired by Carl von Linné, the father of modern taxonomy. Its purpose is to "instantaneously identify organisms and allow anybody to become experts and bask in the richness of the world."
