Located in front of a coconut grove in Lin Luo Township in Pingtung, the Light Brick House is an experimental housing concept aimed to address a typical challenge in the conventional Taiwanese townhouse typology: a disconnection towards neighbors and the natural environment. The design features multi-layer glass brick balconies that define a semi-enclosed space to bridge three fundamental elements, sunlight, water, and green scenery into living space. The Light Brick House reimagines the conventional Taiwanese row housing to incorporate a sustainable and natural lifestyle.
