SCOPE Intercultural Education KV
SCOPE is an intercultural education institute that focuses on using aesthetic awareness and training to improve society and the general education system. The key visual posters in the campaign use eight different symbols to represent cultural dialogues: calligraphic marks for the East and gold-etching marks for the West. The symbols were borrowed from famous masterpieces: "Night-Shining White" from the Tang dynasty; "Whistle jacket" by British artist George Stubbs; “Lonely bird” by Bada Shanren/Dove; Buddha's hand by Salvator Mundi; Guanyin’s eye/ David’s eyes. The posters also feature a unique use of hand-made Chinese paper. The designs offer a vast SCOPE and view of culture along with an openness to linking the East with the West.
