The Monoblock chair is characterised by the use of one tool and one material, representing the most economic form of production. But there are also strong disadvantages to this form of production, such as the very large and expensive tool that is needed and the long production cycles during injection moulding. The idea of the Duoblock simplifies and improves this process, reducing costs and offering more creative possibilities. The chair itself consists of two basic parts, the back-rest with the rear legs and the seat with the front legs; that means 2 L-shaped parts, relatively flat and suitable for production as injection molding parts.
