A traditional way of making tea is to physically immerse the tea in water. However, since most people cannot operate perfectly in terms of timing, temperature etc., it is very difficult to make a perfect brew. In Kenway's design, inspired by the eastern concept of “Qi” (also known as “chi”), of an energy that circulates inside the human body and connects different organs, they use an air pump to let air bring the water up and mix with the tea multiple times. An electronics system controls this process, ensuring an optimal brew.
