Bocksbeutel PS
The Bocksbeutel bottle is particular to the Franconia region of southern Germany. The previous bottle design was also used by Portuguese wines, hence the reasoning behind the creation of a new shape. It was important to keep the traditional bottle shape in mind, while adjusting it to the requirements of the modern world. The Bocksbeutel has a history of over 3000 years, and its last redesign was 300 years ago. The shape of the bottle remains round and compact, but is now thinner, which allows for more tones of green to be expressed through the glass, thus reflecting the colors of the wine and also making it easier to transport.
