AccuraGen is a new medical business that provides personalized cancer diagnostics using DNA-accurate medicine. Unlike the normal hospital or research institution, AccuraGen is pursuing a business path that links cutting-edge medical research to ordinary clinical treatment. Thus, either from the perspective of research or clinical service, the most urgent challenge for AccuraGen is to help people understand its work. The designers of the new Shanghai offices (the company's other offices are in Menlo Park California) took up this educational challenge, with numerous visual and design references to DNA. Some of the design details not only decorate the space, but also balance the two different readings between AccuraGen’s scientists and customers. The double helix is the most recognizable symbol for ordinary people.
