Those who wear eyeglasses often take them off and put them down on surfaces around them. These repeated acts often affect the durability of the frame over time, but most eyeglasses are not designed to withstand the impact of this everyday behavior. We wanted to design eyeglasses that take all contexts into consideration, both when the glasses are worn and taken off. We hoped to reveal the Lean glasses' design identity to embody every moment of its existence through its form. Rather than adding features or forms, we sliced off material from the frame to highlight and emphasize areas that come into contact with surfaces.
