This unique series of ceramic tiles creates an ambience of romance and mystery. It adds a magical touch to the spaces wherein it is used, thanks to large-sized flower patterns, misty appearance, fantastic colors, and spectacular designs. The origins of VitrA are in Turkey during the Second World War, when the absence of imports spurred Dr. Nejat Eczacıbaşı to establish a ceramic tile factory. In 1958 the company opened its first modern production plant. By 1966, VitrA was adopted as the brand name, derived from the term 'vitrify' (to create something resembling the hardness and polish of glass).
