The design concept for the new offices of Taneya Group, a long-established Japanese style confectionary maker, was to "love and learn from nature". Designed by Terunobu Fujimori, this open-plan office is resplendent with high ceilings, an abundance of natural light that brings the ubiquitous natural wood to life. Additional features such as antler chandeliers give it something of the feel of a German hunting lodge. Using natural materials as a base, Fujimori and his client aimed to create a space that unites people and inspires vision.
