A few days before the exhibition opening, the historical exhibition hall of the LWL-Open-air Museum Detmold shines in freshly tiled white. The neon lights cast a cold light on newly installed toilets. Five artists start to conquer the room: in a unique three-day performance they bring handwritten text, playful illustrations and informative graphics directly to the exhibition interior. The subject "hygiene and toilet culture" is communicated by the combination of original exhibits and graphics in the style of toilet graffiti in an authentic, diverse and amusing way.
