Development of an original Sony typeface has enabled coordinated and efficient global branding not only in print and online but also in store promotions, on products, in services and in product manuals. Prepared for use in an impressive 93 languages. Letter forms are somewhat sharp and geometric, to fit the familiar image of Sony products well, but are also uniform for excellent readability from the standpoint of universal design. In touchpoints of all kinds, the typeface gives a consistent impression, supporting the carefully designed experiences consumers expect of Sony.
