Inspired by the natural phenomenon of lightning, the designers aim to create a space full of energy. The magnificent power of the lightning comes from the encountering of positive and negative electricity. This concept corresponds to the Yin and Yang in Chinese I-Ching, in which the everlasting cycle of energy is created. The combination of Yin and Yang makes Tai Chi, a Daoism cosmological concept. Based on the image of Tai Chi, in the center of the dining room and restaurant area lies a TV bench shaped as a united Ying-Yang rotation. This design brings up the spatial energy, functioning as the dynamic center of the lightning totem.
