To underpin Pepperl+Fuchs as an Industry 4.0 innovation leader, we have recommended a trade-fair highlight exhibit for the SmartBridge product. The idea is to raise awareness and demonstrate the function of the product. A transparent machine makes it possible to view sensors that are otherwise mounted unreachably in industrial systems. Visitors can connect to the sensors and discover the wireless function of SmartBridge using an app. Due to the high levels of interest from the trade visitors and press, the presentation became a symbol of Industry 4.0, the motto of the Hannover Messe, which became Pepperl+Fuchs’s most successful trade-fair of all time.
