Harmony of Jasmine
Huatan Township (Changhua, Taiwan) once was the major jasmine origin in 1960s. Nowadays, the cropping area has declined from 180 to 20 ha. In order to renew this local industry and culture, Huatan Farmers’ Association started applying natural farming, creating the brand “Jasmine Huatan” and developing jasmine-related products to promote this particular culture. Inspired by traditional Chinese teapot, the tea box was designed with classic paper cutting patterns; each illustrates fishes and birds as an Eastern phrase “flower, bird, wind and moon”, describing harmonic peace of life. Undoubtedly a surprising token in vision, scent and taste.
