Softshell is a type of two layers textile made from recycled PET bottles and is used as a quick recovery band-aid of damaged land. The structure of it can be modified or reinforced according to the topographic changes caused by natural disasters. Between layers of textile, there is a filler, which can be concrete, cement mortar or others depending on the construction method. Compared to conventional construction methods, the use of it can substantially reduce construction time. It is the best band-aid for immediately preventing further damage and starting permanent repair after disasters.
