The Splitt collection combines highest esthetic demands with comfort and function. The novel wedge sole is made entirely from rubber. Rubber is versatile in design, very durable and recyclable. Air chambers and gaps minimize the sole’s weight, increase its flexibility and thus improve the rolling motion. The grained contact surface provides optimum grip. The sole is not glued, but sewn to the upper. This mechanical fastening omits the need for solvent-based adhesive. Moreover, worn soles can be removed and recycled. While the last and the sole unit remain unchanged, a range of different uppers, leathers and colours yield great variety.
