Thanks to its projecting front end, the robot can be mounted on a pedestal and work downwards without problems or collisions, bridging distances of up to 3,100 mm for assembly, handling, machining and welding tasks with a repeatability of ± 0.06 mm. Organically formed, high-strength components give the robot a dynamic appearance and give visual expression to the performance capability and agility of the machine. Mechanically they also ensure high torsional and bending stiffness – important for precise, reliable operation. Smooth transitions between structural shapes improve the mechanical force transmission and increase the dynamic properties.
