This mobile phone window was created using “thermal forming technology”, a new, detailed glass processing method that entails molding tempered glass at high temperatures to create a curved surface. It enables the production of sheets of 3D glass at a uniform thickness. The application of this technology to mass production results in a surface that is more beautiful than the typical curved acrylic window, with the precisely-formed surface envisioned by the designer. It is more cost effective than previous methods and ensures excellent mass productivity.
