The pikchain® is an innovative conveyor chain for intelligent pick and place handlings. The assembly faces of the conveyor chain can be equipped according to individual requirements, e.g. with grippers, suction cups, tools, sensors or cameras. The integrated “c-chain module” runs continually in parallel and secures energy, data and media supplies via a rotary feed through. This allows individual actuation of every single link / processing unit in the conveyor chain. Transport, processing and monitoring can all be dealt with during one run, avoiding superfluous empty runs. The pikchain® reaches speeds of up to 3 m/s at lengths of up to 30 m.
