During the d3 design talents exhibition at imm cologne 2009, the suspended ceiling light LANTERN of young German designer Mathias Hahn was chosen by Ligne Roset. With this ceiling light the designer wished to have a mass of cable falling to the ground although it is possible to adjust the length of the cable so as not to have any wires touching the ground. Ceiling light with brushed aluminum exterior (matt white on the interior) and transparent glass shade. The light slides along a 7 m long red textile cable. The handles in chromed steel allow the ceiling light to be clipped in place at the desired height.
