This medium kitchen knife is part of our Knifemaking East to West concept. The blade is a compound of two stainless steel types; it comprises a core of extremely hard VG-5 steel and an outer mantle of 410 materials. The blade is forged and ground in Japan by our partner Shiro Kamo. We are responsible for the product design of the new co-version and also the handle made of Makassar ebony. The two signs on the blade (Kamoto and Windmill) symbolize the knife making traditions and also attest to our many years of cooperation and ongoing knowledge sharing.
