The Federation of Housing Associations (vdw) in Lower Saxony and Bremen is celebrating its 100 years anniversary – an opportunity to look ahead and the adequate occasion to publish a book titled ZUKUNFT WOHNEN (The future of housing). The book looks into various options and showcases assumptions, speculations and visions. Will it get better? Or worse? It isn’t safe to say… People from the neighborhood describe their expectations. These are combined with a retrospect from the year 2109: what could have happened in the 100 years to come? Dreams, ideas, sketches, but only one thing’s for sure: also in the year 2109, the day will start with the morning.
