As ceramic interpretation of a basalt stone, MAGMA translates the material structure and esthetics of an original volcanic rock. It was inspired by a particularly fine-grained basalt stone from the south of Italy. Similar to the basic qualities of high compaction and hardness of mineral stone structures, the ceramic material is also compacted in parts as small as possible and under high pressure in the production process. Finest structural applications on the ceramic surface representing the original basalt structure combine the subject of nature with the technical intelligence of the ceramic material to create an unmistakable product.
