The word Frou Frou is derived from the French verb froufrouter, which means to rustle. The design is inspired by the traditional archetype of the raffia parasol. The raffia evokes images of warm, white beaches with waving palms and rustling skirts. Even when the sun is not shining, the look of the parasol will bring you in the mood. The base is integrated in the parasol, which creates a perfect visual unit. Most parasol bases dont form a perfect unit with the parasol and are therefore often a necessary evil, and putting a bit of a blot on the picture. The Frou Frou exists in 3 colours: white, black and green.
