The R 5 0160 E vacuum pump is an oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump for use in vacuum packaging machines and many other industrial applications. The technical innovation of this vacuum pump is in the design of the oil separator, which nestles around the cylinder where the actual pumping process takes place. This results in an extremely compact, efficient, and powerful vacuum pump. The outer appearance of the product is in line with European hygiene standards (“hygienic design”). This is the first vacuum pump on the market so far to comply with these requirement.
