Stylish proximity reader for indoor access control. IF-61 RF readers for access control applications are preferably installed in areas where cables would spoil the scenic view or where they cannot be used for technical reasons, for instance, behind glass panes or glazed doors, in historical buildings, etc. Persons identify themselves by presenting an identification medium in check card or key tag format to the reader at a distance of up to 5 cm. The readers are attached to a pole or rope mounting system through which they are also fed with the required operating voltage.
