Flexus 03 is a study for a mobile phone with a unique mechanism that is sliding on a curve. As a result the phone bends slightly away from the user’s cheek, thus making it easier and safer to hold. The surface is made of tinted glass which is bent into two directions. The trackball-type navigation device – back-lit depending on the state of operation – is in the center of attention. The thickness of the phone has been reduced to a minimum.
