This new BMW helmet design reflects the same avant-garde design language employed in BMW cars and bicycles, with their convex and concave surfaces. The bicycle helmet sets new standards not just in terms of design, but also on the technical plane. Eight foam-embedded outer shells, a Kevlar cage for reinforcement and the largest ventilation openings currently on the market all added up to a new production paradigm for this high-tech helmet. To ensure that comfort doesn’t come in second after all that technology, the helmet is fitted with a lightweight, infinitely adjustable head ring and the sun visor can be simply attached and removed by means of a snap lock and built-in magnets. An integrated fly screen in the vents keeps annoying insects from getting in.
