Our team identified creative and group activities that involve music and video, and created a device so easy to use, portable and inexpensive that it compels users to try it. The four main device functions are: audio and video playback, music creation, video editing, and portable DJ. In addition to audio-video playback, individuals can create melodies note by note using built-in instrument emulators, or they can record and edit live tracks. Users can also edit video footage to create personal videos. They can use it as a DJ tool, mixing and blending music spontaneously, creating an instant party atmosphere. This takes activities accomplished through older technologies with myriad pieces of equipment and combines them into a single compact portable device that opens the fun and personal expression of creating audio and video to anyone.
