The “X” form reflects the spatial configuration specific to conferencing through a PC where participants sit facing a single direction towards the monitor or projection screen. The top casing is a unifying mesh integrating both microphone input and speaker output, so XING becomes just an “X” that marks the spot of connectivity. Free from the board room table, XING conference calls can occur anywhere with internet access, and XING can also be wall mounted. XING features a central LED indicator ring for call-in-progress, mute or offline status; a “call attention” button for speech interruption, volume control dial, and a Skype window launch button.
