SGM’s new PALCO is an LED-based colour changer for indoor and outdoor use (insulation degree: IP65) featuring avant-garde technology and unusual, stylish lines that enable it to blend harmoniously into the architecture and scenarios illuminated. Its main innovation consists of the deployment of a series of high-power Luxeon LEDs as a light source (with RGB colour mixing: 5 blues, 20 greens and 24 reds). The use of LED technology in lighting offers numerous advantages: “Cold” IR-free / UV-free light, which doesn’t heat the objects illuminated. LEDs have a life of approximately 100,000 hours at full power. Electricity consumption is proportional to the light emitted, and less than for traditional lamps. Requires little maintenance. PALCO 3 is ideal for television and theatre as well as architectural applications.
