The form language of Pingo can be described as a kind of “complex simplicity”. All features such as handle or lid have become an integrated part of the jug leaving a distinct but challenging concave silhouette. “The goal was to create a product which is totally different from what has already been created and a product to remember”, the designer John Sebastian says. “At the same time the functionality should be as revolutionary as the visual appearance.” The jug takes 1 litre and has inherited some of its simplicity from the picnic vacuum jug. It has a totally new technology in its “beak”, it is completely childproof and keeps tight when lying down.
