The VPL-VW100 is a video projector featuring 0.61-inch full high-definition silicon crystal reflective display (SXRD) panels and offering full high vision capability. The light source, lens and screen are arranged in a straight line to ensure a clear, distortion-free video image. The designer gave the case gently sloping surfaces extending from the center line to the edge of the frame. The unique main-unit form that results is six-sided whether viewed from above or from the front, creating a sense of precision. A molding material has been used for the frame to streamline the appearance of the inlet and outlet port areas and reinforce the strength of the product. The use of pearl white panels that blend into interior space enable the projector to be used without looking out of place.
