To redefine and expand the brand into the construction worker and professional market, designers applied a new color scheme (orange, dark gray, black and metallic) and form language to make the product highly recognizable. It also meant developing a complete line of products for a simultaneous launch. The most interesting improvement is the plugs, each of which features a backlit icon of the tool in use showing the user exactly which plug goes to which tool without having to trace the cord back to the device.
