Pano is a new type of server-based computer designed to replace corporate desktop PCs. Called a "Zero Client," it is a minimal, hardware-only device, containing no software, no operating system, no CPU, no memory and no moving parts. It only consumes 3 percent of the energy of a traditional desktop computer. The user plugs in their keyboard, display and mouse into Pano, and then plugs it into the network to get a Windows session running off of a centralized server. Moving all software off the desktop to the server, Pano delivers not only a complete Windows experience, but it requires zero maintenance and has no security risks.
