The Blood Donation Station is a display that sits next to a blood donation chair, helping to create an environment that provides comfort, education, and encouragement. The station concentrates on different aspects in the donor experience of giving blood.  It offers options to those who are normally uncomfortable giving blood, such as the ability to block the sight of their blood being donated. Other features include an illustrated display of the donation process which the donor can follow along, and a display with profiles of blood transfusion recipients to help establish a more personal connection and to encourage donors to return.
