The wristwatches by company NOMOS Glashütte stand in the 175-year tradition of Glashütte timepiece design. With their clear and expressive elegance, they are also inspired by the design principles of the Bauhaus. The design of the Tangente Sport neomatik 42 Date has combined this traditional heritage with the robustness and functionality of a sports watch. The very flat DUW 6101 automatic movement is well protected by the reinforced case, which was specially designed for this wristwatch. Protecting the patented date calibre within, this case is based on a perfect design interaction of stainless steel, sapphire glasses, the screw-down crown and crown guard. In addition, excellent legibility even in low-light conditions is ensured by a particularly large amount of luminous material on the hands and hour indexes, as well as the large date window featuring at three o’clock. The watch’s outstanding water resistance to a depth of up to 1,000 feet (300 metres) is visualised by a small inscription in red on the white silver-plated dial. The watch offers a high wearing comfort, which is further enhanced by the innovative watch strap. It is made from 145 individual stainless steel parts and is therefore highly robust, especially for sports activities. The strap nestles against the wrist without pinching the skin. A specially developed folding clasp rounds off the aesthetic appeal of the watch strap.
