SHUN Premier Tim Mälzer Minamo
Based on an idea by television celebrity chef Tim Mälzer, these knives have emerged as a combination of a Japanese Santoku and a European kitchen knife. The name of the series refers to the texture of the blades, which is reminiscent of the surface of water (in Japanese “minamo”) in the rain. The blades are made of 32 layers of damask steel, providing maximum sharpness and a long-lasting edge retention. Thanks to its symmetric shape and slight curvature on the underside, the black coloured pakkawood handle rests well in the hand and is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed use.
