The Drill Core Analyser enables the mineral analysis of rock samples directly on site. The device has an outer layer of steel, which protects it from the harsh mining environment. During the drilling process it communicates through light, which is perceptible even in loud environments. The samples are placed in one-metre-long tubes, which are then fed into the revolving chamber of the analyser in groups of four. A single rotary push button and a user-friendly graphic interface suffice for user input, providing high ease of use in both the mine and the laboratory.
