Thanks to the electric lifting column, the bed can be lowered to an extremely low position for easy entry and raised particularly high for medical interventions. The leg supports can be manually adjusted via a lifting and tilting mechanism without having to be removed. Doctors and midwives have optimum access to the delivering woman via the U-shaped cutout in the chair. The base can be simply pivoted underneath the main part of the bed for the birth.
