Dexmo is a mechanical exoskeleton, which has been developed for virtual reality applications. In combination with a VR headset, it transfers the hand and finger movements of the wearer into the digital world, while simultaneously providing tactile feedback in real time. Wearers can feel the shape, quality and weight of the virtual objects they touch. The exoskeleton is encased in cuffs made of lightweight plastic. They are precisely adapted to the rounded shapes of the internal motors, creating an overall slim design.
