The Gloria Manor lies in the Kenting National Park in the southernmost part of Taiwan. The design of the hotel pursued two aims: preserving its historical heritage and sustainability. Its contemporary design therefore uses traditional, hand-woven bamboo handicrafts and reinterprets the proportions and forms of classical architectural elements. Thanks in part to the mild climate and to meet the aim of eco-friendliness, all windows can be opened fully to allow an uninterrupted view of the wonderful surroundings and minimise the use of air conditioning.
