The Photosmart eStation is a distinctively designed, multifunctional device conveying its high-performance technical capabilities in an aesthetically appealing way with its rounded form. The unit is suitable for printing, faxing, scanning and copying and additionally features an Internet connection. Its special characteristic is an innovative, detachable 7” display with associated charging station, offering the functions of a tablet PC. It contains a web browser with applications such as ereader, email, Facebook, music or a photo gallery. When the display is detached from the eStation, a second control panel becomes visible which accommodates additional device control functions. The central design objective was to integrally incorporate the detachable display into the design from the outset rather than to treat it as an independent component part.
