The central hardware component of this dental prosthetics system is a new 3D dental scanner with optimised workflow and comprehensive functionality, supporting for instance the scanning of solid master, section cut and antagonist models. It also features an innovative morphing function that allows for the automatic design of a complete provisional range of inlays, onlays, veneers and partial crowns, even if the morphology of the original tooth is lacking. A white, highly polished case and distinctive, powerful form language create positive associations with tooth form and dental enamel. Furthermore, free form surfaces support the rigidity of the case and lend the scanner a high-quality, clean appearance. The complete interior has been redesigned to optimise and facilitate the handling of prostheses, as has an external adjustment aid for positioning the prosthesis.
