Luxifer breaks new ground in the product of light bulbs, since it is moulded in one piece of plastic. Thanks to a dual-plastic injection moulding method the properties of the different materials can be taken advantage of. The original metal connectors are replaced with partial electroplating on the surface of the lamp. This leads to a clear reduction in the lamp’s weight as well as a simplified manufacturing process. The use of an AC LED further contributes to its high efficiency and the minimisation of the bulb’s size.
