Conceived in the spirit of the fabulous inventions of a big adventurer, Louis Moinet introduces – with its Jules Verne line – a new way to start and stop a chronograph. These watches feature an advanced mechanism to activate the chronograph function. It consists of a lever that can be set in two positions (armed/disarmed) and offers the advantage of fully securing the handling of the chronograph. The Jules Verne automatic watches possess a “split-second” function, which can be activated via a pusher located at 10 o’clock. The eight hand functions are highlighted by a complex dial with 5 applied parts and 12 minute dots and are also adorned with the “Côtes du Jura” design. Contained within each Jules Verne watch from this series is a genuine moon rock in a waterproof porthole at 9 o’clock.
