The Tascent InSight One is an iris and face recognition system for use in airports or at border crossings. When a person approaches the system, the device scans both iris and face within seconds and then displays a pass or no pass symbol. The recognition status is indicated with a green or red light so that the user receives immediate feedback. The system can be mounted on a pole, plate or wall. Its housing is made of aluminium with a glass front, while the enclosed oval light is polycarbonate.
